Eat Street Fall Arts Fest is on Saturday from 12 - 5 at 2116 Nicollet Ave. S. Lots of fun stuff there, like live bands, drinks, DJs, a mural being painted, the Children's Theatre – Oh, and the address is especially cool because it's the last vacant lot on Eat Street, and the Whittier Alliance bought it and will be soliciting ideas on what they should do with it. Should be a great day.
Did you know that Minneapolis Public Schools and the teachers union post all of their contract negotiations online? The videos are long (last one is here), but it's a great way for the public to get inside of the discussions happening that impact schools, teachers, and students. The Oct. 14th meeting was cancelled, but you can see a summary of past sessions here.

Southwest's boys will look to continue their undefeated season at home against St. Louis Park at 3 PM. Southwest's girls team was sadly defeated.
