The City of Minneapolis and Metro Transit are doing a 2-for-1 construction project where sewers will be fixed and new E Line bus stops will be added over 10 weeks starting in May. Metro Transit may start work in late April if they find a contractor in time.
The Linden Hills Neighborhood Council wants to keep the small businesses thriving in the area during the construction and are asking people to walk, bike, and roll to Linden Hills starting in May. The neighborhood organization is also working with the businesses to offer incentives for traveling without a car. Southwest Voices will have more details on those incentives as May approaches.
