Boludo made a surprise announcement on Saturday when they launched the grand opening of their new location at 2935 Girard Ave S in Uptown. They’ll take the place of Sotarol Asian Kitchen.

The original restaurant opened at 38th and Nicollet in Kingfield in 2018. The new spot is the 4th Boludo, adding to the Kingfield location which moved around the corner from their first store, the Downtown East addition that opened in 2021, and the recently opened branch in the Como neighborhood.

The Uptown location will have their full suite of empanadas, pizzas, and salads, and will serve beer, a variety of Argentinian wine, and select cocktails. Their announcement marks the latest in a series of Uptown openings that most recently included Uptown Ties and the Green Room music venue. Green Room is located on the same block as Boludo.

They’ll be open Mondays from 5 - 9 p.m., Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Friday – Saturday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
