El Jefe Cocina and Bar announced in late October that it would be closed until March 2023.

In an Instagram post, the owners of El Jefe wrote,

"With patio season ending, cold weather moving in, increased food cost, and wage increases it is not economically feasible for us to keep our doors open. This is an ongoing and serious issue for many small restaurant owners. Unfortunately, in an effort not to have to close our doors permanently, this is the decision we had to make. We thank you all again for your understanding and support!"

El Jefe is accepting food truck reservations for 2023. Email eljefecuisine@gmail.com to reserve the food truck for a future event.
