Farmers market spotlight: Sweet Anchor Stroopwafels
"After traveling to the Netherlands a few times while in Ireland visiting our relations (the Irish way of saying family or relatives), we decided stroopwafels are one of the best cookies in the world because of their balance of flavors and novel composition. Realizing stroopwafels are not common in the United States despite their delicious character, my brother and I set upon bringing homemade, from-scratch stroopwafels to our nearest neighbors. And so Sweet Anchor Stroopwafels weighted anchor and set sail, metaphorically speaking, in the early spring of 2021. With our novel recipes, our dutch-made imported stroopwafel irons and plenty of effort, we hand make and package every stroopwafel every week for everyone to enjoy.
We attend the East Isles Farmers Market every other Thursday (we will be there July 21). We are also at the Saint Paul Lowertown Farmers Market Saturday and Sunday as well as the Northeast Farmers Market on Saturdays."

This came after Public Works had prioritized 24/7 dedicated bus lanes in the plan for four years. Adam Wysopal wrote about what he found in the public data. The Pubic Works and Infrastructure committee delayed discussing the vetoed Hennepin redesign plan until its next meeting on July 28.
