Eric Ortiz, the President of the Lowry Hill Eats Neighborhood Association, wrote a piece about how block clubs in the neighborhood are organizing. The vision is to make neighbors more connected. His stated goal is focused on public safety, and is a good example of how neighbors are organizing to help one another.
Southside Harm Reduction Services and the Kingfield Five Watt are partnering to make snowflakes and raise money for the organization. Melody wrote about the partnership and how you can participate this week.
