Minneapolis Voices is hiring a sales associate!

What does this mean? It means that you get to go out, meet with cool businesses or organizations, and talk to them about partnering with us to help get the word out about them and all of the great stuff they do. Oh, and the money that you bring in helps directly support Minneapolis Voices and the journalism that we create.

The job has flexible hours and the compensation is commission-based. For the right candidate, we can work out whatever agreement you need to make this fit with your life. It’s a great gig for someone who is not looking to work full time, or wants to add this as a contract job on top of another one. Entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs are more than welcome.

Requirements: 

  • A network of contacts within the local business or non-profit community
  • Past experience with sales or an ability to learn more about it quickly
  • Willingness to meet with people, virtually or in-person, to discuss Minneapolis Voices, our story, and what we have to offer
  • Creative, fun, and ready to roll with the punches
  • Must live in Minneapolis and love Minneapolis
