In April, the owner of Vo’s Vietnamese Restaurant announced he was retiring and selling his restaurant. Last week, a reader let us know that Quality Paint & Autobody was also for sale, which is next door and spans half a block around the corner. The auto shop, which is no longer operating, is listed by Fidler Commercial for $675,000.

Both buildings are being sold through Fidler Commercial. Here is Vo’s listing for the same selling price of $675,000. For $1.35 million, one buyer could have both buildings.

Quality Paint & Autobody’s property runs along 35th Street on the west side of Lyndale Avenue South.

Imagine the possibilities. With both buildings for sale, a lot could happen with the space. A new restaurant and auto body shop could reopen in these spaces. Or the auto body shop could turn into something else.
