The Iron Door Pub is closing its LynLake bar after ten years of operation. The owners made the announcement via a social media post on Thursday.  

“Despite our best efforts, we weren’t able to overcome the collective challenges that small businesses face at the moment,” the social media post reads. A person who works at The Iron Door Pub said on Reddit that the property owner’s lease renewal cost “wasn’t doable.”

Casablanca Restaurant & Lounge also closed across the street, which will leave two corners of LynLake empty.

Cause Spirits & Soundbar operated in The Iron Door Pub’s space previously but lost its lease in 2014 after five years.
