Last week, several of you asked us to help provide information about the Park Board races in Southwest. Because of that, we reached out the candidates and put together voter guides for the At Large, District 4, and District 6 races (the candidates that will be on Southwest residents' ballots). Check them out to get a better feel for the candidates, where they stand, and which district you live in. Email or text us with any questions. Early next week, we'll plan to publish our last voter guide, which will cover a basic rundown of the charter amendments.
A group of Linden Hills businesses have expressed concerns about the placement of two bus stops in their neighborhood as part of the draft E Line rapid bus route. We put together a project page with some information from Metro Transit about the E Line to give you some background and context on the issue. If you want to skip the context and head straight to the letter from the businesses, you can find it here, but there is also a direct link to it on the project page. Metro Transit wants your feedback on the route by Oct. 31st, and there's info on the project page for how to do that.
We received a bunch of your surveys, emails, and texts telling us how you're feeling about the election. If it helps, lots of people are probably in the same boat as you, and it might be worth reading what we heard about where you're at in the lead-up to November.
